The majority of the data centers have been on 10 gigabit cabling infrastructure, but today's world of digitization is growing leaps and bounds both in terms of its utility and technological advancements. Today's data centers cannot rely on 10 gigabit, it has to leap to 40 gigabit and in future it should support 100 gigabit.
